We want you to feel confident with you decision to purchase a North Pacific Yacht so we offer a stem to stern warranty against all manufacturing defects or equipment failure for a period of 1 year after delivery, unless otherwise covered by the original equipment manufacturer warrany which may be valid for a period longer than one year.
In addition North Pacific Yachts offers a warranty against any structural fiberglass cracks resulting from poor craftsmanship in the hull or superstructure for a period of 5 years. All warranty claims are paid at North Pacific Yachts’ discretion. North Pacific Yachts must be notified of all the possible expenses for any claim to review and give pre-approval before repairs or replacements are made or the expenses may not be covered by the warranty. North Pacific Yachts reserves the right to appoint it's own agent to assess, verify and authorize repairs using companies which either North Pacific Yachts or its' agent selects.
This limited warranty does not apply to, and North Pacific Yachts shall have no liability or responsibility in respect of, damages or expenses relating to:
• a yacht, including components and systems, that has been altered or modified from factory specifications;
• equipment and accessories not factory installed by North Pacific Yachts;
• damage from osmosis blistering if the original gel surface has been altered in any way;
• damage or deterioration of cosmetic surface finishes, including cracking, crazing, discoloration, fading or oxidation of gel coat, wood finishes (varnishes, stains and paints), fabrics, plated or painted metal and stainless steel finishes; anti-fouling bottom paint or zinc anodes;
• the cost to remove, disassemble or reinstall components not installed by North Pacific Yachts that require removal to access parts covered by this limited warranty;
• a North Pacific yacht which has been misused, operated in a negligent manner, used for racing or military purposes, operated without normal maintenance, operated contrary to any instructions furnished by North Pacific or its component suppliers, or operated in violation of applicable law or regulations;
• any representation or implication relating to speed, range, fuel consumption or estimated performance characteristics;
• window glass and windshield damage or breakage; damage, shrinkage or deterioration of carpet, upholstery, and exterior canvas tops, enclosures, and weather covers;
• any damage, cost or expense caused by act of nature; and
• loss of time, loss of use, inconvenience, travel expense, transportation costs, towing, or other matters not specifically covered hereunder.
Limitation of Damages
The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of defects in materials or workmanship, and does not include incidental or consequential damages.
There are no implied warranties applicable to any North Pacific Yachts.
