Rugged look; built solid. Beautifully handcrafted teak interior. Well equipped with brand name gear.
Our goal was to design a well-built yacht suitable for comfortable long-range travel even in miserable weather conditions. With its solid hull, heavy duty stainless steel fittings, and its spacious, beautifully hand crafted teak interior the North Pacific 43' Pilothouse not only met but exceeded our original expectations.
Not only does the North Pacific 43 offer excellent value, but also good design. We spent 3 years and countless hours ensuring that all equipment was easily accessible and that the useful living and storage areas were maximized on this yacht, from its spacious salon to its extensive upper deck, while never neglecting the minor details that make the difference.
The North Pacific 43’ can be confidently piloted with an unobstructed view over the high prow from the raised pilothouse, or from the flybridge. The NP43 cruises comfortably at 8- 10 knots, produced by the yacht’s single 230 hp Cummins QSB common rail diesel engine (twin available). In striving to provide the most to boaters for their dollar, the North Pacific 43 comes well equipped with a generator, bow thruster, diesel forced air heat, 2800W pure sine inverter/charger, Tecma toilet, windlass and anchor package, fresh/sea water wash down, Dual Racors, oil change system and much more (see Specifications). In addition the NP43 is designed to provide maximum useful living and storage space inside and out making it an excellent long range cruiser or live aboard. In all aspects this yacht was designed to satisfy even the most demanding boaters, and is something all prospective yacht owners must see.
We are able to realize our vision of quality and offer the North Pacific 43 at an unbeatable price because we invested in, and formed a joint venture project with a well-respected boat manufacturer in China which originally built boats in Taiwan. The factory is modern and is able to employ the best manufacturing techniques (all yachts are built to meet ABYC standards), while at the same time can draw on an extensive skilled labor force when the job is better suited to more traditional hand crafted techniques. A combined 70 years of boat building experience between the investors in the factory and our 30 years of boating experience in the Pacific Northwest, enables us to build a quality yacht suited to make even the worst cruising conditions comfortable.
Finally, we are able to offer North Pacific Yachts at competitive prices because we do everything we can to keep our marketing overhead low instead of trying to cut production costs. You won't find us working from fancy waterfront offices, we deal direct with buyers, keep advertising costs at a reasonable level, rarely keep inventory boats and we try to spead these relatively low costs over a ten or more yachts per year.
